FEWA Office in collaboration with the Civil Service Department at Ras Al Khaimah recently organized an awareness lecture titled: 'Electricity and Water, a blessing… lets preserve it.' The talk was delivered by Engineer Abeer Hassan Al Jeeda at Ras Al Khaimah Cultural Center Auditorium.
The lecture defined the concept of conservation and illustrated the importance of preserving our natural resources through the combined efforts of the entire community, emphasizing that it was not only a religious and national duty but also a civilized way of behavior. During the lecture Eng. Abeer also reviewed the techniques of electricity generation and water production and how they are distributed as a means to demonstrate the best way to conserve these vital resources.
At the closing of the talk, the attendees showed great appreciation for the subject Eng. Abeer delivered, thanking him for educating them and raising awareness on such a vital issue.
